Haran Photography

I was so excited on Daffodil Day (Friday 29 August) this year to be part of a project the Cancer Society is planning for next year’s Daffodil Day which marks the 20^th anniversary of the annual fundraising event.  The Cancer Society sought NZIPP qualified photographers to volunteer their time to capture images for a book which will be released next year.  I was more than happy to donate my time to such a worthy cause.

I was assigned to photograph a wonderful volunteer by the name of Debbie.  Debbie has a career in banking but is a regular gives her time as a volunteer for the Cancer Society.  She has a very friendly nature and made it very easy for me to capture wonderful pictures of her throughout the day.  It was a pleasure to meet her and share in some of her time spent on this worthwhile cause.  We were based in Featherston St and then Lambton Quay so it was a busy day with lots of foot traffic and therefore funds to collect.

Unfortunately I can’t share my photos with you until next year, but encourage you all to keep an eye out for the book and join with me in supporting such a great cause.
